The undersea world is very beautiful. Now more and more people want to dive in the water to find the secrets there. Scuba diving is a new sport! It can take you into a wonderful undersea world.
You will find many strange animals in the sea. Some are as large as a school bus.
Many sea animals give out light in the dark and some have sharp teeth.
During the day, there is enough light. Here under the sea, everything is blue and green. When fish swim nearby, you can catch them with your hands. When you have bottles of air on your back, you can stay in deep water for a long time. However, you can’t dive too deep. And you must be very careful when you dive in deep water.
The deep sea is not an easy place to live in. It’s cold, and it’s dark, too. The deeper it is, the less sunlight there is. At about 3,000 feet deep, there is no light at all. It is dark in the sea. Many fishes have no eyes. Some have big eyes. A few have eyes on one side.
Besides the cold and darkness, deep-sea animals face a third danger----- other animals.

Albert Einstein is considered as one of the greatest minds of the twentieth century. Even as a small boy Einstein was thoughtful. It was said that he was a slow talker and he did not start talking until he was three years old. The boy was encouraged by his uncle, an engineer, and by a medical student who ate dinner once a week at the Einstein’s home.
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Germany. Though he attended school as a young boy, his real studies were done at home with books on math, physics and philosophy. By the age of 12 he had taught himself geometry (几何学). A teacher advised Einstein to leave school, since he destroyed the other students’ respect for the teacher. When he was 15, he had to leave school in mid-term to join his parents, who had moved to Italy.
At the age of 16 he failed the exam to enter a school, where he would have been trained as an electrical engineer. At that time, Einstein developed a plan. He decided to enter a school to study maths and physics so that he could become a teacher. In 1900 he graduated as a teacher of maths and physics. His teachers did not think very highly of him, so he had difficulty in finding a job in a university. In 1901 he took a job as a high school teacher and married Mileva Martisch. One year later, Einstein became a teacher at the University of Bern. In 1905 Einstein wrote a paper on what is now known as the Special Theory of Relativity (狭义相对论). He won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921 for his work on the photoelectric effect (光电反应).
