Chen Yuanchun is a teacher at a rural (乡村的) primary school m Cangyuan, Yunnan Province. The 44-year-old woman teaches Chinese, but she is very interested in computer technology. She has introduced coding (编程) to her students as an important information technology skill.
Chen’s connection to coding began in November 2018. She became one of the first teachers in Cangyaan to take training courses on coding. The training was challenging for a beginner like Chen. Among all the traditional festivals in China, my favorite one is the Spring Festival. As one of the most important traditional festivals in China, it is celebrated in late January or early February. Almost all people in China and even some in other countries celebrate the Spring Festival.
There are two reasons why I love this festival. One is that it helps bring our family and friends closer to each other. The other is that it's a good time to leave the past behind and look forward to a new beginning.
The celebration of the Spring Festival usually starts weeks before the day. I often help clean the house to drive away bad luck. And when the day finally arrives, I always put on new clothes and celebrate it together with my family, eating dumplings and enjoying the Spring Festival Gala. It makes me feel happy and cheerful.
