Whether we’re young or old, rich or poor, we have one thing in common: The moon has always looked down at each of us when it lights up the night sky.
Just like a mirror, the moon reflects the sun’s light. It can also reflect people’s feelings. This is probably why the moon is always popular among Western and Chinese music, poems(诗歌) and other forms of literature. So when we look at the moon, what exactly do we see looking back at us
Well, that depends on who’s looking.
The ancient Greek poet(诗人) Sappho, for example, saw the moon as a woman who lit up space with her beauty.
Later in England, however, the moon’s image(形象) was completely different. In the Middle Ages, English people often drank to get away from difficult life. In their eyes, the moon was a man who liked drinking. In London, at least three pubs(酒馆) were named Man in the Moon. It’s probably because the bright moon at night looks like a man’s red face after drinking. A popular song sung in pubs at that time even went, “Our man in the moon drinks wine...”
The moon is also a popular subject in Chinese poems. Chinese Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai’s Quiet Night Thoughts reads, “Up towards the glorious moon I raise my head, then lay me down and thoughts of home arise.” Similarly, Zhang liuling wrote in another poem, “Looking at the moon and thinking of one far away. ”So in
Chinese culture, when people look at the moon, they may miss their hometown and someone. Very interesting, right

D.Because people thought the bright moon looked like a man’s red face after drinking.
( )47.What does the text mainly talk about
A.The further study on the moon.
B.The moon’s images in different cultures.
C.Different ways to praise(赞美) the moon around the world.
D.The relationship between the moon and people in different times.

Facial recognition technology(人脸识别技术) is widely used today. For example, police use it to search for bad guys. It’s also used to unlock phones, open doors or make quick payments. Even when people wear masks, they can be recognized. Now, a similar technology, known as facial detection(探测), is entering a new field: the business of advertising.
Such systems are going through tests in a small number of stores. One facial detection system can judge(判断) a person’s “happiness” or “fear” level. That helps businesses see how people feel as they look at products or advertisements in the store. Another system can detect whether someone is wearing eyeglasses. If so, stores can send advertisements for new glasses to him.
Facial detection technology is also placed inside some large advertising boards. Cameras in those boards can detect information like people’s ages and five levels of feelings from “very happy” to “very unhappy”.
Supporters of the technology say it could improve buyers’ experience by showing products they might like or by offering them products at lower prices.
Some are against the idea of using such systems. Pam Dixon, head of a privacy(隐私) group, is one of them. She thinks ______. For example, a business could raise the price of a product according to a person’s age and feelings. However, one store testing the technology explained they wouldn’t store people’s information like names or ages. And the advertising board system maker said it didn’t keep any personal information or record any videos.

①A smile shows that a person is happy. For example, a person may smile when he or she is pleased with a grade on a test. Or a person might smile if a friend told a funny joke. People smile for many different reasons. But smiles are more than just a way for people to show that they are happy. There are other good reasons to smile often.
②First, it is easier to smile than to show unhappiness. In fact, it only takes 17 muscles(肌肉) to smile. On the other hand, it takes 43 muscles to show unhappiness. So give the muscles in your face a rest and smile!
③Second, smiles are nice. People may try to look nice on the outside by exercising or wearing nice clothes. However, there is a famous saying: a smile is the best thing a person can wear. That is because it is easy to be around someone who is smiling and happy. Almost no one wants to be around someone who is unhappy all the time.
④Third, smiles are helpful. Both smiling and laughing can quickly spread from one person to another. If one person smiles, people around him or her want to smile, too. Similarly, when a person laughs, people tend to laugh with them. If a person is sad, the best thing to do is to share a smile or laugh. It is the easiest and cheapest way to cheer someone up.
⑤Finally, smiling and laughing are very good for the body. Even if you are mad or sad, try smiling. You’ll find that it will be hard to stay mad or sad for very long.
( )56.In what situation does a smile show that a person is happy

Saturday s and Sundays, with the final competition on July 29 this year. Organized by local soccer fans, Village Super has attracted players from all walks of life, such as farmers, vendors, small business owners, construction workers and excavator drivers.
