As many of the world's schools are bringing the newest technology into the classroom, one European country is doing the opposite. Sweden, which is often thought to have one of the world's best education systems, has spent millions of dollars on new school textbooks---and plans to spend millions more.
The country had been quick to bring tablets(平板) and computers into schools, and even preschools. Technology may not be the reason for this---but the country would like to concentrate more on quiet reading, handwriting and paper books, instead of things like independent online research.
Sweden's Karolinska Institute said in August 2023, “There's clear scientific evidence(证据) that digital tools hurt rather than improve students' learning. Seahorses are small, thin fish. Even though they're fish, seahorses aren't great swimmers. Instead, they often use their tails to hold onto something in the water.
There are over 40 different kinds of seahorses. Many kinds of them are in danger because of the actions of humans. Sometimes people catch and sell them as pets. They are also sometimes caught by accident when boats are trying to catch other fish.
Seahorses are unusual because it's the males(雄性) who carry the babies. Males can carryover 100 babies at a time. When babies are born, they are about the size of a grain(谷粒) of rice.

About a month before the young seahorses were set free, the scientists created eight underwater “hotels” to provide a safe place for them to develop. Putting the hotels into the sea ealy allowed the hotels to be covered with small sea life that can help provide food for the seahorses.
