How to Develop Labor Education for Children
It’s reported that Labor Education has been included in the education of schools in China.
As far as I’m concerned, it is necessary for teenagers to develop Labor Education. First, it’s not enough to just get good grades at schools. Second, teenagers these days depend on their parents too much. Doing chores helps to develop their independence and teaches them how to look after themselves. Third, it also helps them to understand the idea of fairness. Everyone should do their job in keeping the home clean and tidy.
Besides, schools also need to set Labor Education classes for students. For example, teachers can teach students how to plant trees or vegetables in order to protect the environment and be grateful to food. Students need to learn to do housework at home as well as clean the classroom in turns at school.
All in all, I think it’s our duty to help with some chores. We can’t depend on our parents forever. The earlier teenagers learn to do chores, the better it is for their future.
