Do you want to see the Great Wall of China from space World View Company plans to let you see it in hot air balloon. The company plans to begin its first flights in early 2024. The flights will take travelers up to 100,000 feet. Each trip will take 8 visitors and 2 workers from World View Company will be with them. Trip will last anywhere from 6 to 12 hours.
And if you think this is just going to the space, you are wrong. The travelers will start their vacation at one of World View’s spaceports (宇航基地) around the world. And they will take part in a five-day trip before their flight. It will take them to the Grand Canyon in the United States, the Giza Pyramid s in Egypt, the Serengeti in Tanzania, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, a northern lights spot in Norway and the Great Wall in China. And the price of each person is $50,000. “We decide to build a different kind of space travel experience. It will help more humans watch the Earth close to the darkness of space,” said Ryan Hartman, World View’s CEO.

Many people like to travel when they have time off from school or work. They might go to their hometown to see their family, or travel somewhere far. But not everyone does this—some people take a “staycation” instead (代替).
A staycation is a holiday that you spend at or near your home. Some people might travel around their city. Others might try rural tourism (农家乐) in the countryside. I prefer to just stay at home.
I had a staycation of my own over the summer. I slept late every day. I worked on music and played video games. I wasn’t too lonely (孤独的)—I had my cat to play with, and I visited some of my friends around the city.
Traveling is fun from time to time. But it’s also nice to just stay at home and relax. It’s also cheaper, since I don’t have to pay to travel. You can choose to do anything you want—or, if you want, just do nothing. There’s nothing wrong with that.

7.What can people do on their staycation
8.When did the writer take a staycation

How are you I hope you and your family are well.
Helena and I spent three fantastic weeks in Ireland and had a great time. We flew to Dublin, the capital (首都), and spent a week there. It’s a beautiful, interesting city. We saw all the old buildings and enjoyed the nightlife.
After that, we rented (租用) a car and spent two weeks driving around the country. It’s really beautiful! I was worried about the weather, but it didn’t rain once. We stayed in small hotels and met some really nice people.
My favorite place was County Mayo. We went walking in the mountains in County Mayo for a few days. It was really quiet. On the first day, we didn’t see anyone else—we only saw sheep!
Now we’re back in New York! How was your summer Did you have fun Please write and tell me everything! Or why not come and visit us There are some cheap flights (航班) in September and the weather is still OK.

The story of Robinson has been popular around the world for nearly three hundred years. People used to think the story was not true. However, researchers have found that Alexander Selkirk had the same experience. He went to a small island in 1704 and stayed there for more than four years.
Researchers found a house and some tools on the island. They believed that these were Alexander Selkirk’s. They also found some holes. It was certain that Selkirk used them to watch coming ships or look out for dangerous animals.
It is said that Selkirk came to stay on the island after he argued with his captain (船长). He decided to stayed there to repair an old ship. He didn’t know that he would stay there for nearly five years before a visiting English ship picked him up and took him back home.
His story was written down in 1709. He told people that he had to kill goats with his gun. He ate the meat and used the skin (毛皮) for clothes.

Do you laugh every day Most people do. Scientists say that people laugh about 17 times a day on average (平均). That is lots of laughter.
In India, there are hundreds of laughter clubs. They aren’t a place for people to watch interesting shows. They’re a place for people to practice laughing. People get together every morning. First, they put their hands on their heads. Then they pretend (假装) to laugh. But after a short time, everyone is laughing naturally. They say they feel good after laughing together.
Scientists believe that laughter is good for us. Why do they think so For one thing, laughter is good exercise. When we laugh, we exercise many muscles (肌肉) in our body. Scientists say that one hundred laughs is the same as ten minutes of running. For another, when we laugh, we also breathe deeply (深呼吸). This helps us relax. That’s good for us, too.
Why do we laugh That’s a hard question to answer. We know that people laugh more often in a group. They don’t laugh very often when there is no one with them. Many scientists believe that we use laughter to connect (把……联系起来) with other people. Laughter helps us feel part of a group.
