Hearing what Ms. Carson said, I thought for a moment. “Maybe there’s something I can do.” I spent that evening drawing, immersive and joyful. In the morning, I stuck my sketchbook into my backpack and ran to the bus. On arriving at school, I couldn’t wait to show my sketch to Ms. Carson. Looking at my draft, Ms. Carson gave me a big hug, with a surprised smile flicking across her lips. With the Ms. Carson’s encouragement, I decided to draw real sets for the play. Over the next weeks, a corner of the lunchroom was filled with cardboard and paints.
Finally, opening night arrived. I sat next to Mom and Dad in the auditorium.When the curtain rose, everyone saw a magical land with a fancy carriage and a glittering castle. Kristie was a wonderful Cinderella, and everyone applauded when the play was over. Then Ms. Carson called me up to the stage. She said into the microphone, “I’d like to give a special thanks to Shayna, who designed them. Her effort and talent made tonight extra special.” Everyone clapped. For me! I did get a part in the play after all. And it was just as good as being Cinderella.

Many of us spend hours dreaming of getting away from busy lives. Interestingly, two men accidentally did just that. (18) They got lost at sea for over four weeks. James Green and Chuck Jackson set off from their island on September 3rd in a small motorboat to travel 200 km to another island. It was a trip they had done several times before. (18) Unexpectedly, soon after they set out, they were hit by a storm which stopped their GPS system from working properly. They lost their ability to find out their location. The storm blew them off course and they ended up off the coast of a foreign country. But the two men didn’t mind their unplanned adventure. (19) (20) Rather than get worried about the dangerous situation, they actually enjoyed their time at sea. (19) Mr. Green said, “We didn’t know where we were but did not expect to be in another county.” They survived by eating oranges they had bought for their journey and something they pulled from the sea. It was lucky that a local fisherman found their boat and he called some of his neighbors to rescue them. (20) Mr. Jackson said, “I look forward to going back home, but I guess it was a nice break from everything.”

二、注意事项
1.先根据作答的整体情况初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来综合衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分;
2.对内容要点的覆盖情况以及表述的清楚程度和合理性;
3.使用词汇和语法结构的准确性、恰当性和多样性;
4.词数少于 60 或多于 100 的,从总分中减去 2 分;
5.单词拼写和标点符号是写作规范的重要方面,评分时应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。 英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受;
6.书写较差以致影响交际的,将分数降低 一个档次。
读后续写
1.本题总分为25分,按五个档次进行评分
2.评分时,应从内容、词汇、语法和篇章结构三个方面考虑,具体为:
(1) 续写内容的质量、完整性以及与原文情境的融洽度
(2) 所使用词汇和语法结构的准确性,恰当性和多样性
(3)上下文的衔接和全文的连贯性
3.评分时,应先根据作答的整体情况初步确定其所属的档次,然后以该档次的要求来综合衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。
4.评分时还应注意:
(1)词数少于120的,酌情扣分
(2)单词拼写和标点符号是写作规范的重要方面,评分时应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑,英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受
(3)书写较差以致影响交际的,酌情扣分
第五档(很好)(21-25分)
(1)与所给短文融洽度高,与所提供各段落开头语衔接非常合理,文章内容新颖、丰富、合理,非常有逻辑性,续写完整;
(2)所使用语法结构和词汇丰富、准确,语言错误很少,且完全不影响意义表达;
(3)自然有效地使用了语句间的连接成分,使所续写短文结构紧凑,全文结构非常清晰,前后呼应,意义非常连贯。
第四档(好)(16-20分)
(1)与所给短文融洽度较高,与所提供各段落开头语衔接较为合理,比较有逻辑性,续写比较完整;
(2)所使用语法结构和词汇较为丰富、准确,表达比较流畅,可能有些许错误,但不影响意义表达;
(3)比较有效地使用了语句间的连接成分,使所续写短文结构紧凑,全文结构比较清晰,意义比较连贯。
第三档(适当)(11-15分)
(1)与所给短文关系较为密切,与所提供各段落开头语有一定程度的衔接,与原文情境基本相关,但有的情节不够合理或逻辑性不强;
(2)应用的语法结构和词汇能满足任务的要求,虽有一些错误,个别部分影响意义表达;
(3)应用简单的语句间连接成分,使上下文内容连贯,全文结构基本清晰。
第二档(较差)(6-10分)
(1)与所给短文有一定的关系,与所提供各段落开头语有一定程度的衔接,内容和逻辑上有 一些问题,续写不够完整;
(2)语法结构单调,词汇项目有限,有些语法结构和词汇方面的错误,影响了意义的表达;
(3)较少使用语句间的连接成分,全文内容缺少连贯性,全文结构不够清晰,意义欠连贯;
第一档(差)(1-5分)
(1)与所提供短文和开头语的衔接较差,内容和逻辑上有较多重大问题,或有部分内容抄写原文,续写不完整,与原文情境脱节;
(2)使用的语法结构单调,词汇项目很有限,有较多语法结构和词汇方面的错误,严重影响了意义的表达;
(3)缺乏语句间的连接成分,全文结构不清晰,意义不连贯。
