Noise Pollution in My Community
Good morning, everyone! I’m Li Hua. Today, I’d like to talk about noise pollution in my
community. Noise problems are becoming serious. In the morning, I always wake up early because
of the noisy machines in construction works. Late at night, restaurant customers talk so loudly that I
can’t go to sleep. Sometimes noise from neighbors’ pet dogs or house parties disturbs me a lot.
Now, construction works have stopped using noisy machines at weekends and before 8:00 a.m.
on weekdays. The community center has told restaurant customers to talk quietly when it’s late. I
have asked some neighbors to quiet down. But most importantly, I think our government should
make laws to stop noise pollution in the community.
