Jim is a successful artist. When he was 12, his parents died. He lived alone and didn't get on well with others. Children always laughed at him. No one wanted to make friends with him. His only friend was his dog Tiger. One day, when he walked down the street, a young lady was walking in front of him. Suddenly one of her bags dropped from her arms. As she stopped to pick it up, she dropped other bags. Jim came to help her. "Thank you, dear! You are a nice boy!" the lady said kindly, with a bright smile. Jim felt very happy because it was his first time to hear this kind words after his parents died. He watched her until she went far away. The words changed Jim's life. He washed his face and changed his dirty clothes. He started to talk with others. Day by day, he had his circle of friends.
