Stonehenge is an ancient circle of stones in the south of England. It was built about 5，000 years ago. Every year，it attracts thousands of tourists to enjoy its beauty and to wonder about how and why it was built.
There are about 80 stones and each is about five meters tall. The stones were 380 kilometers away from where they were made. The ancient people had only wooden tools.To move the stones they probably used tree trunks (树干) to roll them along. So it was a wonder to build Stonehenge.
