Dear Mike,
Shenzhen is an innovative city. A great event called “Creative December” is held here. Aiming to enrich students’ school life as well as promote their ability to innovate, our school held a Creative Campus Festival last week. It’s so impressive that I couldn’t wait to share more details with you.
First, a creative writing contest was organized in the school cafeteria. More than 300 students took part in it, sharing their fantastic thoughts with each other. Besides, volunteers from grade 8 put on an attractive robot exhibition in the playground. Plenty of advanced robots with different functions were shown to the public. On the last day, Students in Literature Club conducted a debate on whether teacher will be replaced by AI in the future. How attractive and interesting it was!
Personally, this Festival was really meaningful. It not only inspires me to be creative but also broadens my horizons. Finally, I hope you will visit Shenzhen next year to participate in it. (148)
