Recently, the Internet has been increasingly important in every aspect of our life, which has caused a heated debate on whether it is proper for students to make online friends, Perspectives vary on this matter from one to another.
On one hand, those who advocate this proposition say that they can make more friends, explaining that not only they express their thoughts freely, but also they can learn English conveniently. On the other hand, the rest who object to this idea argue that they may waste much time, believing that making online friends may cause negative impact on their study and may lead them to be cheated.
All in all, in my opinions, making friends is a wise choice because the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages
