I’m delighted to tell you that there will be a Chinese folk dance show held by our school. I sincerely hope
you can set aside some time for the dance feast.
The dance show will take place in the school hall from 6pm to 8pm of 21 January. Not only will you enjoy
students’ Chinese traditional folk dances, but you will also have the chance to admire some famous dancers’
performances. Besides, there will be a lot of interesting activities, from which you can have a clearer picture of
Chinese folk dance.

◆ 书写较差以致影响交际的，可将分数降低一个档次。
2．各档次的给分范围和要求
第五档（13～15 分）
－ 覆盖了所有内容要点，表述清楚、合理。
－ 使用了多样并且恰当的词汇和语法结构，可能有个别错误，但完全不影响理解。
－ 有效地使用了语句间衔接手段，全文结构清晰，意义连贯。

第四档（10～12 分）
－ 覆盖了所有内容要点，表述比较清楚、合理。
－ 使用了比较多样并且恰当的词汇和语法结构，可能有些许错误，但不影响理解。

第三档（7～9 分）
－ 覆盖了大部分内容要点，有个别地方表述不够清楚、合理。
－ 使用了简单的词汇和语法结构，有一些错误或不恰当之处，但基本不影响理解。

第二节（满分 25 分）
Every car in every direction did the same thing. They stopped at the same time. Everything seemed to freeze.
Amazed, I looked at the cars around me, and noticed that everyone’s attention was fixed on the blind couple while
no one got mad and none was shouting and yelling. They just waited patiently, without sounding the horn, afraid
of scaring the couple. It appeared that all the drivers understood what the couple went through.
Never noticing something different, the couple adjusted their route as they followed the coaching. Trusting
their white walking stick, they finally made it. As they went across the road, one thing struck me –they were still
arm-in-arm. I was surprised at the emotionless expressions on their faces and judged that they had no idea what
was really going on around them. Yet I immediately sensed the sights of relief of all the other drivers at that busy
crossroads. So, taking a moment to see what is going on around you right now may award you something
wonderful.

【主旨大意】
“我”是一个一直忙于工作的人，开车经过一个十分繁忙的十字路口时，停在路口等红绿灯。此时人
行道上一对年轻的盲人夫妇抱着小孩，仅靠手中的手杖要走到马路对面。本以为大家会冲他们鸣喇叭，大
声喊叫，结果所有车辆都同时安静地停下为他们让路。通过此事作者意识到，忙碌生活中有时也要停下脚
步，细心观察身边，可能会发现之前被忽略的美景。
【思路点拨】
（1）续写第一段的首句为： Every car in every direction did the same thing.
分析：一对盲人夫妇过马路时各个方向的车同时停下了，就像时间静止一样。作者本以为只有自己注
意到他们是盲人，结果当他环顾时每个人都注意到了。大家都没有生气，没有出声，耐心等待。
（2）续 写第 二 段的 首 句为 ：Never noticing something different, the couple adjusted their route as they
followed the coaching.
分析：这对盲人夫妇并没有发现有什么异常，他们调整步伐，继续用手杖指引，成功地走到了马路对
面。“我”发现他们一直都是手牵手，停在路边的其他司机也都松了一口气。结尾总结，生活忙碌，也要

W: I went to Beijing and lived there for six months because of my work. While I was in Beijing, I lived in an
apartment. There were two bright bedrooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen and a big living room. I lived with a
colleague. My company paid for everything during my stay there. So it was nice to not have to worry about the
rent. For food, I ate at home most of the time. I liked cooking, but sometimes I ate at restaurants. Food in
general was not expensive. Beijing is a very large city, so finding things to do was never a challenge. I had
some amazing experiences there, including a tour of the hutongs, learning how to cook Chinese food, taking a
weekend trip to Tianjin with a colleague’s family, and going to the Russian ballet with a girl I taught English to.
My trip to Tianjin impressed me most. I don’t like watching TV or reading newspapers. So while I was in
Beijing, I loved surfing the Internet to know what was going on in the city. On the whole I greatly enjoyed my
time there. I am very grateful for my time living in China.
